Según trascendió, los actores Rebecca Hall y Timothée Chalamet, parte del elenco de la próxima película de Woody Allen, "A rainy day in New York", donaron su salario al movimiento Time's Up y se mostraron sumamente arrepentidos de haber trabajado con él. “Después de leer y releer las declaraciones de Dylan Farrow", empieza el descargo de la actriz británica en su Instagram, "Me di cuenta no sólo cuán complicado es este asunto sino cómo mis acciones hicieron que otra mujer se sintiese silenciada y ninguneada. Lo siento profudamente. Me arrepiento de esta decisión y hoy no volvería a actuar de la misma forma", escribió.Parece que, de a poco, la voz de Dylan Farrow se va haciendo más fuerte. Desde que la joven denunció a su padrastro, Woody Allen, de abusarla sexualmente en la infancia, una grieta empezó a abrirse en el suelo de Hollywood. Sus palabras causaron un gran revuelo pero fue recién este año, con la llegada del movimiento Time's Up, que las cosas empezaron a virar a su favor. He gave me one of my first significant roles in film for which I have always been grateful, it was one day in my hometown - easy. I have, however subsequently realized there is nothing easy about any of this. In the weeks following I have thought very deeply about this decision, and remain conflicted and saddened. After reading and re-reading Dylan Farrow’s statements of a few days ago and going back and reading the older ones - I see, not only how complicated this matter is, but that my actions have made another woman feel silenced and dismissed. That is not something that sits easily with me in the current or indeed any moment, and I am profoundly sorry. I regret this decision and wouldn’t make the same one today. It’s a small gesture and not one intended as close to compensation but I’ve donated my wage to @timesup.
