“Once on this island”, un éxito de Broadway producido por un argentino

El musical de Broadway “Once on this island” comenzó sus previews con gran éxito.La obra dirigida por Michael Arden tuvo su primer ensayo general y el Circle in the Square Theatre fue una fiesta. El musical, que cuenta con Diego Kolankowsky como uno de sus productores, narra la historia de amor de dos personas de diferentes clases sociales y sus complicaciones para hacer que su historia funcione dentro de la isla donde viven. Está protagonizada por Lea Salonga (ganadora de un Tony Award como "Mejor Actriz"), Alex Newell, Merle Dandridge y Quentin Earl Darrington junto a un talentoso elenco. Durante su gira por los Estados Unidos, Mauricio Macri presenció minutos del ensayo junto a Juliana Awada y Kolankowsky. Tanto el presidente como la primera dama felicitaron al elenco, creativos, director y la producción, quienes por su parte agradecieron los deseos de éxito. Durante el resto del mes el musical continuará realizando las funciones de prueba, para ultimar los últimos detalles de la superproducción.
